Because boxing is legal, and animal fighting is not.
Just like if smoking pot was legal, then people would accept it,like they do with drinking alcohol.
Both are bad,but one is legal and one is not..
So we accept one and not the other.
because human boxers CHOOSE to fight, whereas animals do not.
um to the rude person who said im a dumb ****.. no im not the dumb ****.. oh animals choose to fight do they ? do you ask them and they tell you they want to fight ?
Because of the whole process that makes up dog fighting. It's not just the fight itself.
Boxers are human, humans can choose to fight or not. Dogs in that sport are bred to fight. Plus boxers don't fight to death. Sometimes dog's do. Or they get killed when they lose. Boxers live to see another day.
well I guess its because cok fighting and or dog fighting (animal fighting) its illegal based on animal cruelty because it ends up with death, animals have to kill to win and thats against the state laws and considered animal cruelty. now, people fight and still live, if they die or kill its because they did it in their own risk having conscious that they will be injured but animals do it because people instigated them to fight for their lives, its animal instincts and people now it but animals dont. its like puttin a baby in the middle of the road.
Different strokes for different folks.
I quit watching boxing about thirty years ago. I have never watched animals fighting, unless you count Animal Kingdom or shows similar.
I think the paradigm here is that, however we regard boxing, it is, bottom line, a contest between two consenting adults.
Animal fighting, such as dog fighting, is akin to statuatory rape. There is no way that dog can give consent.
So, in the same way that our society especially condemns pedophiles, we condemn those who 'rape' animals by forcing them to fight.
Boxers? We are just left wondering…would Ali be suffering from his neurological condition had he not subjected his head, and brain, to such massive blows? Then ask the same question of the hundreds of young men (and women) who choose to enter boxing. What price, your mind?
I don't watch either.

Because people are hippies. Particularly, the PETA group. They love animals more than humans.
